# Groundledger FAQ

### What is Groundledger?
An MIT suite of Agent Skills for Claude Code, Cursor, and Cowork: blog SEO/AEO, site SEO (PROBE), paid media (SAFE), editorial passes, social content, and multi-surface discovery — with a hard ban on fabricated statistics.

### Was this called Clearcast?
Yes. Renamed to **Groundledger** to avoid unrelated name collisions. Not affiliated with Clearcast UK or other ClearCast apps. See [brand.md](brand.md).

### Will the model invent numbers?
It must not when following Groundledger. Grounding Law + claim ledgers block unsupported material claims. Always review the ledger before publish.

### How do I install for Claude Code?
`bash scripts/install.sh --claude` or copy `skills/*` to `~/.claude/skills/`. See [INSTALL.md](https://github.com/dranshrad/groundledger/blob/master/INSTALL.md).

### How do I install for Cowork?
Upload each `skills/<name>/` as a skill zip via Cowork → Customize → Skills.

### Does Groundledger guarantee rankings or AI citations?
No. It improves editorial and extractability readiness; search/answer engines decide outcomes.

### Does paid-cast change my ad account?
No by default. It is observe-only until you open MutationLatch with scope, spend ceilings, and explicit approval of a draft change pack.

### What is PROBE?
Site Signal’s recommendation contract: Proof, Relies-on, Overturn (how we’d know it failed), Beacon, Effort — so SEO advice stays falsifiable.
